What's the game about?
Welcome to the year 2126 – a time when cities think, move and breathe sustainably! In this hands-on adventure, you become the engineer behind a thriving ‘future city’. You will design and power a future city using renewable energy and transport systems – building trains that glide, cars that drive and windmills that spin to keep their smart city sustainable.
As young engineers, you’ll discover how clean power can fuel connected transport networks while cutting carbon emissions. Can your windmills generate enough energy to power the trains? Will your city grid balance demand when cars start to move? How can we design roads and rails to make travel fast, safe and net zero?
Why it’s awesome:
You’ll get to create, build and play while learning how engineers are creating the net-zero cities of tomorrow. From wind-powered transport to carbon-free construction, this activity will spark imagination and inspire the next generation of sustainability-minded engineers.
