Eirini Tsouknida is an MRes/PhD candidate in the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge, within the FIBE3 Centre for Doctoral Training. Her research, funded by UKRI and EPSRC, explores the integration of neurocognitive information into energy building simulations, supervised by Professor Ruchi Choudhary. By bridging computational design, environmental simulations, and multimodal human-centred data, her work aims to inform the creation of adaptive, resilient, and sustainable buildings and cities.
Eirini is an ARB-registered architect with a Master’s in Computation Urban Design from The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. She has delivered complex, multidisciplinary projects internationally through her roles at Jacobs Solutions Inc. and Hoare Lea LLP. Her work, at the intersection of design, data, and environmental performance, has been exhibited internationally, including at the Venice Biennale and ARS Electronica.
